Open data
SAGOMEEN aims to become a genuine citizen observatory. We commit to sharing aggregated, anonymised data drawn from the community’s contributions, while respecting privacy.
Available data
- Average ratings per place and per criterion (anonymised).
- Emotional satisfaction index per category and per city.
- Rankings per category, per criterion and per geographic area.
- Aggregated citizen reports (category, status, area — with no identifier).
- How ratings evolve over time to spot trends.
Territorial intelligence
Open data makes it possible to compute indicators at neighbourhood and city level: quality-of-life index, perceived safety, cleanliness, accessibility, environment. These indicators can serve local authorities, researchers and citizens in understanding and improving the living environment.
Public API
A public API will eventually allow aggregated data to be retrieved in JSON format. Access will be free for reasonable use, with an API key to prevent abuse. The data will be available under an open licence (Open Data Commons type).
Downloads
Datasets will be downloadable in CSV and JSON formats. Each dataset will include documentation describing the fields, the collection method and the limits of interpretation.
Open-data downloads will be available from version 2 of the platform.
Anonymisation
No personal data is included in the open datasets. Individual reviews are not published as open data: only statistical aggregations (averages, distributions, counts) are shared. Data is aggregated at a level sufficient to prevent any re-identification.
