2. Publication director

The publication director is [À compléter : prénom et nom], who can be reached at contact@sagomeen.com.

They are responsible for the editorial content published by SAGOMEEN: information pages, rankings, indicators and platform texts. Reviews, photos, replies and reports published by users are the responsibility of their authors (see “Content published by users”).

3. Hosting

The website, its database and the images uploaded by users are hosted by:

  • OVH SAS
  • 2 rue Kellermann, 59100 Roubaix, France
  • https://www.ovhcloud.com

4. Purpose of the platform

SAGOMEEN is an independent citizen platform for rating a city’s establishments and services criterion by criterion — shops, healthcare, public offices, transport, leisure — and for reporting everyday problems.

No establishment can pay to be listed, to be ranked higher, or to have a review changed or removed. SAGOMEEN is free to use and governed by its terms of use.

5. Content published by users

Reviews, ratings, photos, replies from establishments, place suggestions and reports are written and published by users, under their sole responsibility. They express the opinion of their authors, not that of SAGOMEEN.

For this content, SAGOMEEN acts as a hosting provider within the meaning of the rules applicable to technical intermediaries, in particular the ECOWAS Supplementary Act on electronic transactions and the national laws implementing it. SAGOMEEN does not review content before it is published, but promptly removes it or disables access to it when manifestly unlawful content is reported, or when it breaches the trust charter.

6. Reporting unlawful content

Every review has a “Report” button available to anyone who is signed in. It is the fastest route: the report goes straight to the moderation queue.

You can also write to signalement@sagomeen.com, stating:

  • your full name and contact details (or the name and representative of your organisation);
  • the exact address of the page concerned;
  • a description of the disputed content and why you believe it is unlawful, citing the legal provisions involved if you know them;
  • where applicable, a copy of your request to the author of the content, or the reason you could not contact them.

A deliberately abusive report, intended to remove a negative but legitimate review, may engage the liability of its author.

7. Establishments’ right of reply

Any establishment mentioned may reply publicly, free of charge, to reviews about it after claiming its listing from the business area. The reply appears below the review and is subject to the same rules of courtesy as the reviews themselves.

An establishment that does not wish to create an account can exercise its right of reply by writing to contact@sagomeen.com.

8. Intellectual property

The SAGOMEEN name, its logo, visual identity, editorial texts, indicators and the website’s code are protected. Any reproduction or reuse, in whole or in part, without the written permission of [À compléter : raison sociale ou nom de l’exploitant] is prohibited, except within the limits allowed by law — a short quotation with the source credited, for example.

The aggregated, anonymised data published on the “Open data” page may be reused under the licence stated on that page. Rights over user content are set out in the terms of use.

9. Personal data and cookies

The processing of personal data is described in the privacy policy. It falls within the framework of ECOWAS Supplementary Act A/SA.1/01/10 on personal data protection and the applicable national legislation.

SAGOMEEN only sets the cookies needed to keep you signed in: no advertising cookies, no third-party trackers. Audience measurement is internal and works without cookies.

To exercise your rights, use your profile page or write to signalement@sagomeen.com. You may also contact the data protection authority of your country, where one exists.
